GRONDVESTEN<\/h4>\n

Van\u00a017 oktober 2026 tot 3 januari 2027\u00a0presenteert Griet Dobbels de tentoonstelling GRONDVESTEN in Ter Posterie. Naar aanleiding van die tentoonstelling komt ze een lezing geven in SASK, waarin ze een inkijk geeft in haar artistieke praktijk.<\/p>\n

Voor de tentoonstelling\u00a0GRONDVESTEN\u00a0zoekt Griet enthousiaste deelnemers om samen een grootschalige installatie in Ter Posterie te realiseren.\u00a0 Wil je deel uitmaken van dit unieke kunstproject?\u00a0 In de lezing ontdek je alles over het concept en de mogelijkheden om mee te doen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Het werk van Griet Dobbels vertrekt vanuit onze perceptie van natuur en landschap, en hoe die cultureel bepaald wordt. Landschap vormt een terugkerend thema in haar praktijk. Ze probeert onzichtbare lijnen opnieuw zichtbaar te maken \u2014 geografische, topografische, demografische en historische lijnen. In haar werk onderzoekt ze de relatie tussen individu en landschap en bevraagt ze de verhouding tussen perceptie en realiteit. Publieksparticipatie en samenwerking vormen daarbij een essentieel onderdeel van haar kunstenaarschap.<\/p>\n

GRIET DOBBELS<\/h4>\n

Griet Dobbels is beeldend kunstenaar en woont en werkt in Nazareth (B).
\nZe begon haar professionele carri\u00e8re in 1996 na dat ze afstudeerde aan het Royal College of Art in Londen.
\nHaar werk wordt getoond in binnen- en buitenland. Ze deed een aantal opmerkelijke residenties; onder meer: Al Ma\u2019mal Foundation, Jeruzalem (2023), PS en Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto, IT (2018) en heel recent in Birgu, Malta. Haar werk is te zien in musea, kunstencentra, op kunstfestivals, in de openbare ruimte of in het kader van diverse particuliere initiatieven.
\nDeze zomer is haar werk te zien op het Kunstenfestival Watou \u201926 in samenwerking met Lotte Dodion, Cesar Janssens.
